Recap: McGehee Hawks vs. Fisher Gators        
        
		
            
 McGehee won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune  on Wednesday. They wound up on the wrong side of a  tough 20-5 walloping at the hands of the Fisher Gators. It was the first time  this season that McGehee let down their fans at home.
 For Fisher's part,  Gabby St Ann made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she  tossed four innings while giving up just two earned runs off   four  hits. St Ann was even better at the plate,  scoring two  runs while going 2-for-3.
 In other batting news,  Talyn Feicht was a standout: she went 2-for-2 with a  home run and three  runs. The team also got some help courtesy of  Riley Tassin, who  scored three  runs while going 3-for-5.
 McGehee's loss  ended  a  five-game streak of wins at home  dating back to last season and  dropped them to 8-2. As for Fisher, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four games,  which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record  this season.
 McGehee will be playing in front of their home fans against Riverside Academy at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. As for Fisher, they will be staying on the road  on Thursday to face off against South Plaquemines at 4:00  p.m. Fisher is facing South Plaquemines at the right time seeing as South Plaquemines is stuck on  a  five-game losing streak.
