Soccer Recap: Silver Comes Up Short

Silver managed to keep up with Santa Teresa until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Fighting Colts lost 5-0 to the Desert Warriors. Silver haven't had much luck with Santa Teresa recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Silver now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Santa Teresa, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 10-5.

Silver didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 1-0 victory against Deming on the 9th. As for Santa Teresa, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, an 8-0 win against Chaparral on the 9th.
