Basketball Recap: Stockbridge Skates Past Locust Grove with Ease

Stockbridge came tearing into Friday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13 points) and they left with even more momentum. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Locust Grove Wildcats 53-18. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matches by 24 points or more this season.

Stockbridge pushed their record up to 9-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Locust Grove, they are on a 15-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Stockbridge and Riverwood will round out the year against one another at at 4:30 p.m. on December 28th. As for Locust Grove, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Woodland at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
