Basketball Game Preview: White Mountains Spartans vs. Colebrook Academy Mohawks

The White Mountains Spartans will take on the Colebrook Academy Mohawks at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

White Mountains took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They came out on top against Winnisquam by a score of 60-48.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Colebrook Academy). They took down Epping 80-65 on Friday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Mohawks as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Colebrook Academy pushed their record up to 4-5 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.0 points per game. As for White Mountains, their victory bumped their record up to 4-5.

White Mountains was able to grind out a solid win over Colebrook Academy in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, winning 77-68. Does White Mountains have another victory up their sleeve, or will Colebrook Academy turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
