Soccer Game Preview: Elkhorn vs. Beloit Memorial + Official Tickets

The Elkhorn Elks will take on the Beloit Memorial Purple Knights at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Elkhorn's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Elkhorn managed to slip by New Berlin Eisenhower the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Elks lost 3-0 to the Lions on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Beloit Memorial waltzed into their match on Thursday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. Their defense stepped up to hand the Papermakers a 3-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for Beloit Memorial, who have now won 11 contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Banks Denu was the driving force of Beloit Memorial's attack as he scored all three of Beloit Memorial's goals, bringing his season total up to 31 goals.

Elkhorn's loss dropped their record down to 11-3-2. As for Beloit Memorial, their win bumped their record up to 14-1-2.

Elkhorn skirted past Beloit Memorial 2-1 in their previous meeting back in September of 2024. Will the Elks repeat their success, or do the Purple Knights have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
