Football Recap: Loara Comes Up Short + How To Watch

If Loara was riding high fresh off their 42-22 takedown of Beverly Hills last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Saxons came up short against The Webb Schools Gauls on Saturday, falling 35-14. The Saxons were not able to make up for their defeat to the Gauls from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Although Loara took the loss, they still got scores from Jorge Rodriguez and Santiago Caudillo.

The Webb Schools had a senior duo take command as Mikey Pino threw for 399 yards and four TDs and Alec Kaushal picked up 287 receiving yards and a pair of scores. Kaushal was no stranger to the big play, lighting up the secondary with a catch that went for 66 yards.

Loara's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for The Webb Schools, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Loara will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Century at 6:30 p.m. on the 25th. As for The Webb Schools, they will square off against Channel Islands at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
