Basketball Recap: Bishop Guertin Takes a Loss

After flying high against Spaulding last Thursday, Bishop Guertin came back down to earth. The Bishop Guertin Cardinals lost 92-72 to the Pinkerton Astros on Tuesday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Thursday (69), the Cardinals still had to take the loss.

Bishop Guertin's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Pinkerton, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-5.

Bishop Guertin will square off against Dover at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Bishop Guertin's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three contests. As for Pinkerton, they will challenge Manchester Central at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Pinkerton is facing Manchester Central at the right time seeing as Manchester Central is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
