Basketball Game Preview: Sundance Bulldogs vs. Newcastle Dogies

The Sundance Bulldogs and the Newcastle Dogies will compete for holiday cheer at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Sundance has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 180 points over their last three contests.

Last Tuesday, Sundance didn't have too much trouble with Harding County as they won 59-45.

Meanwhile, Newcastle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against Pinedale, falling 75-50.

Sundance's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-2. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.7 points per game. As for Newcastle, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Sundance strolled past Newcastle in their previous meeting back in December of 2023 by a score of 62-46. Will Sundance repeat their success, or does Newcastle have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
