Cherokee County came tearing into Friday's match with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They never let the Lincoln Golden Bears get on the board and left with a 9-0 win. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by seven runs or more this season.

Cherokee County pushed their record up to 16-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games.
