Basketball Recap: Sam Houston Comes Up Short

Sam Houston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They fell 49-42 to the Southside Sharks. That's two games in a row now that the Broncos have lost by exactly seven points.

Sam Houston's loss dropped their record down to 12-17. As for Southside, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 22-14.

Looking ahead, Sam Houston will face off against Carencro at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Southside has already played their next contest (against Woodlawn-B.R.), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
