Softball Recap: Springfield Comes Up Short

Springfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bowling Green Bobcats. The Blue Devils were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bobcats earlier this season, when they won 4-1.

Springfield now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Bowling Green, they moved to 3-12 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

Coming up, Springfield is taking a road trip to square off against Elmwood at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bowling Green, they will take on Ross at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
