Central Academy kept a clean sheet against Monroe on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Redhawks with a sharp 7-0 victory. Makenna Bahnick was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

The win made it two in a row for Central Academy and bumps their season record up to 4-7. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 1-7 Monroe and 2-6 Forest Hills. As for Monroe, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Central Academy will head out to face off against Porter Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Porter Ridge's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Monroe, they will venture away from home to challenge Forest Hills at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
