Soccer Recap: Galileo Comes Up Short

Galileo fell victim to Mission and their airtight defense on Thursday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mission Bears. That's two games in a row now that the Lions have lost by exactly two goals.

This is the second loss in a row for Galileo and nudges their season record down to 4-6-3. As for Mission, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 4-4-5 record this season.

Coming up, Galileo will take on San Francisco International at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. San Francisco International's last five matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. Mission does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
