Basketball Game Preview: Northeast Eagles vs. Patterson Clippers

The Northeast Eagles just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Patterson Clippers at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Northeast has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Northeast took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They blew past Severn Run 53-29. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Eagles as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Patterson humbled Benjamin Franklin with a 51-23 victory. The Clippers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 20 points or more this season.

Patterson now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Northeast, their win ended a ten-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-6.
