Carson won the last time they faced Gardena and things went their way on Monday too. The Colts blew past the Panthers 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Colts.

Carson walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-17, 25-16.

Gemma Esqueda paced Carson's offense, picking up seven kills. Esqueda got some help from Priscilla Alcayaga and her 27 assists. Alcayaga was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Carson's victory bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Gardena, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Carson is set to face off against their familiar foe Banning at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Gardena will take on rival Narbonne at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
