Carl Albert is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They breezed past McAlester to the tune of 55-0. The Titans haven't had any issues with the Buffaloes recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.
Anderson Collier looked great while leading his team to the win, throwing for 269 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 12.2 yards per attempt. Those 269 passing yards gave him a new career-high. Jacson Webster did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 90 receiving yards.

Another reason for the win was Carl Albert's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for five sacks. Joe Thomas was especially locked on to McAlester's QB and sacked him twice. With that strong performance, Thomas is now averaging an impressive 5.2 total tackles per game. Lebron Royal was another major factor on D, picking up a sack and making nine total tackles.
Pryor typically has all the answers at home, but on Friday Newcastle proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 40-30. The Racers pushed the score to 34-10 by the end of the third, a deficit the Tigers cut but never quite recovered from.
Newcastle's win came from a few key players Carl Albert will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Ben Rogers, who rushed for 124 yards and two scores on only 12 carries. He is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Ashton Shumard, who picked up 95 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.
Newcastle was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 228 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 228 rushing yards in three consecutive contests.
Newcastle didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Shumard and Santorrio Boykins. Newcastle got some further help from Quinn Hously: he made ten total tackles (3.0 for loss).
