It's playoff time, and University had no trouble coming through when it counted. They put the hurt on the Granada Matadors with a sharp 3-0 win on Wednesday. Winning may never get old, but the Red Devils sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
University walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-20, 25-12, 25-17.
University's win bumped their record up to 21-4. As for Granada, their loss dropped their record down to 13-13.
Looking ahead, University will host Amador Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Granada does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
