Volleyball Recap: First Baptist School Comes Up Short

First Baptist School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Pinewood Prep Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 on September 11th.

First Baptist School was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Pinewood Prep work for it, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 28-26, 25-20, 25-21.

First Baptist School's defeat dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Pinewood Prep, they pushed their record up to 8-5 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. First Baptist School will challenge rival Ashley Hall at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Pinewood Prep is set to square off against their familiar foe Palmetto Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
