Basketball Recap: St. John Paul II Starts Season with Loss at Home

St. John Paul II unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Alabama School of Cyber Technology and Engineering Sentinels by a score of 41-39 on Monday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it 27 in a row.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. St. John Paul II won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Priceville at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Alabama School of Cyber Technology and Engineering, they will head out to take on Clements at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
