Softball Game Preview: Dalhart Wolves vs. Estacado Matadors

The Dalhart Wolves will head out to square off against the Estacado Matadors at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Dalhart lost 17-1 to Pampa on Tuesday. The Wolves have struggled against the Harvesters recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Estacado had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They came up short against Hereford, falling 29-4.

Dalhart skirted past Estacado 9-8 in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. Will the Wolves repeat their success, or do the Matadors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
