Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sallisaw). They put the hurt on the Heavener Wolves with a sharp 5-1 victory on Thursday. The Black Diamonds haven't had any issues with Wolves recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

The victory got Sallisaw back to even at 4-4. As for Heavener, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Sallisaw will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Gravette at 5:00 p.m. on April 1st. Heavener also won't see the pitch for a while: their next contest is against Fort Gibson at 6:00 p.m. on March 25th.
