Basketball Game Preview: Western Reserve Blue Devils vs. McDonald Blue Devils

Western Reserve will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on McDonald at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Western Reserve hadn't beaten Memorial on the road since November 29, 2019 but that history sure didn't bother them on Friday. The Blue Devils enjoyed a cozy 52-38 victory over the Red Devils. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Blue Devils.

Meanwhile, McDonald had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat McKinley 70-27. The win continues a trend for the Blue Devils in their matchups with the Trojans: they've now won six in a row.

Western Reserve suffered a grim 64-44 defeat to McDonald in their previous meeting back in January. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of McDonald's Drew Zajack, who went 8-for-15 en route to 21 points along with seven rebounds and four steals.
