Volleyball Recap: Glen Burnie Takes a Loss

Glen Burnie was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the South River Seahawks. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Gophers of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Glen Burnie may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored 12 points in every single set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-12, 25-12.

Glen Burnie's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for South River, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-6.

Coming up, Glen Burnie will challenge Southern at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for South River, they will take on Arundel at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
