Softball Recap: Bishop Union Comes Up Short

After flying high against Desert on Tuesday, Bishop Union came back down to earth. The Broncos came up short against the California City Ravens on Friday, falling 12-3. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Ravens this season, with their most recent defeat being a 17-4 loss back in April.

Bishop Union saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tannyr Ludwick, who went 2-for-4 with two doubles and one run. Another was Ellie Boyd, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Bishop Union's loss dropped their record down to 11-8. As for California City, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Bishop Union nor California City have any future games scheduled.
