Basketball Recap: Toledo Takes a Loss

Toledo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They came up short against Monroe/Alsea, falling 44-23. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Monroe/Alsea this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 53-38 back in December of 2024.

Toledo's loss dropped their record down to 9-14. As for Monroe/Alsea, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a massive bump to their 8-5 record this season.

Toledo didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 44-23 defeat against Monroe on the 12th. Monroe/Alsea does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
