Sherman has gone a perfect 3-0 against St. Joseph Central recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Tide will venture away from home to challenge the Irish at 4:15 p.m. Sherman is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season.

Last Wednesday, Sherman came up short against Greenbrier West and fell 6-3.

Makayla Harless was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with three RBI and one triple. Another player making a difference was Summer Harvey, who scored a run while going 3-for-3.

Meanwhile, St. Joseph Central also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Tug Valley by a score of 6-3. The loss continues a trend for the Irish in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost four in a row.

Sherman now has a losing record of 2-3. As for St. Joseph Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.

Everything went Sherman's way against St. Joseph Central in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Sherman made off with an 11-0 win. Will the Tide repeat their success, or do the Irish have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
