Basketball Recap: Trinity Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Trinity Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They were outmatched by the City of Life Christian Academy Warriors and fell 45-13. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 56-2 back in December of 2024.

City of Life Christian Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Abigail Squires, who went 6 for 14 en route to 14 points and five steals. Squires is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games she's played. Mia Garcia was another key player, putting up five points and ten steals.

Trinity Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for City of Life Christian Academy, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Trinity Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 70-32 loss against University on the 17th. As for City of Life Christian Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 46-18 defeat against Old Plank Christian Academy on the 17th.
