Basketball Recap: East Chambers Comes Up Short

East Chambers was the 38-33 winner over Orangefield when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The East Chambers Buccaneers fell 58-45 to the Orangefield Bobcats on Friday. The Buccaneers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

East Chambers' defeat dropped their record down to 14-9. As for Orangefield, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 14-6.

East Chambers will square off against Hardin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. East Chambers is facing Hardin at the right time seeing as Hardin is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Orangefield, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Orangefield Bobcats face off against the Buna Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Orangefield has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 195 points over their last three games.
