St. Mark strolled into their game on Wednesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They were the clear victors by a 9-2 margin over the Smyrna Eagles. The result was nothing new for the Spartans, who have now won six matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

St. Mark's victory was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-0. As for Smyrna, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Mark's will venture away from home to square off against Caravel Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
