Recap: Chandler Wolves vs. Mountain View Toros
The Chandler Wolves won against the Mountain View Toros last Friday with 56 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Tuesday. Chandler strolled past Mountain View with points to spare, taking the game 56-40. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Chandler.
Chandler's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jayla Freeman, who scored 17 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Freeman has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Averi Mehlberg, who scored 14 points along with three steals.
Several Toros players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Emma Fischbeck, who almost dropped a double-double on 21 points and nine rebounds. That was a full 52.5% of Mountain View's points, marking the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Axelle Robinson was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with ten rebounds.
Chandler's win bumped their record up to 14-12. As for Mountain View, they have not been sharp recently as the team has lost eight of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-15 record this season.
Chandler does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Mountain View also has no future games currently scheduled.
