Softball Recap: Cranford Comes Up Short

Cranford lost against Governor Livingston back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cougars fell 9-6 to the Highlanders. Cougars fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Highlanders since on Tuesday.

This is the second loss in a row for Cranford and nudges their season record down to 1-6. As for Governor Livingston, their win bumped their record up to 5-3.

Coincidentally, Cranford and Governor Livingston will both be playing Dayton the next time they take the field. The Highlanders will host the Bulldogs at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, while the Cougars will host them at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday.
