Softball Game Preview: Alpha Omega Academy Lions vs. BVCHEA HomeSchool Mustangs

The Alpha Omega Academy Lions will take on the BVCHEA HomeSchool Mustangs at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Alpha Omega Academy has three straight victories, BVCHEA HomeSchool has 11 straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Last Friday, Alpha Omega Academy got the win against O'Connell by a conclusive 14-3. That's two games straight that the Lions have won by exactly 11 runs.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for BVCHEA HomeSchool's offense. They came up short against Mumford on Friday, falling 20-0.

Alpha Omega Academy's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-12-1. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.7 runs over those games. As for BVCHEA HomeSchool, their loss dropped their record down to 2-16.

Alpha Omega Academy was able to grind out a solid win over BVCHEA HomeSchool when the teams last played back in February, winning 9-4. Do the Lions have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Mustangs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
