Basketball Game Preview: Tyee Titans vs. Foster Bulldogs

Tyee hasn't had much luck against Foster recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Tyee Titans will venture away from home to square off against the Foster Bulldogs at 7:15 p.m.

Tyee is headed into Monday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 17th straight game dating back to last season on Thursday. They took a blow against Highline, falling 73-26. The Titans were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-15.

Meanwhile, Foster put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They strolled past West Seattle with points to spare, taking the game 67-51. While the Bulldogs didn't have the best season last year (they finished 4-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Foster's win came from a few key players Tyee will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Myjeer Rigney, who posted 14 points and three steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jeremiah White, who put up nine points along with eight rebounds and four steals.

Foster pushed their record up to 5-0 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Tyee, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Tyee was taken down by Foster 80-29 in their previous meeting back in January. Can Tyee avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
