After losing to Calera the last time they met, Pell City decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Pell City Panthers were the clear victor by a 6-2 margin over the Calera Eagles on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

Pell City's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Calera, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

Coming up, Pell City will be taking part in a tournament against Gulf Shores at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Calera, they will take on Northridge in a tournament on Saturday. Northridge will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Calera surely won't give up without a fight.
