Volleyball Recap: Callaway Takes a Loss

Callaway lost against Pike County back in August of 2017, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Cavaliers fell 2-0 to the Pirates. The Cavaliers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Callaway ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-21.

Callaway now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Pike County, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Looking ahead, Callaway will face off against LaGrange Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pike County, they will welcome Whitewater at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Pirates surely won't give up without a fight.
