Basketball Recap: North Side Takes a Loss

If North Side was riding high fresh off their 36-10 takedown of Trimble Tech last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The North Side Steers were beaten by the Arlington Heights Yellowjackets 49-9 on Friday. The Steers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 33-4.

Acealynn Teyauna Gray was North Side's leading scorer, having posted five points.

North Side's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-21. As for Arlington Heights, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-13 record this season.

When North Side and Arlington Heights next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. North Side will square off against Wyatt and their four-game winning streak at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Arlington Heights will try to stop Paschal's four-game winning streak when the meet at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
