Softball Game Preview: Western Brown Broncos vs. Harrison Wildcats

The Western Brown Broncos will take on the Harrison Wildcats at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in Western Brown's favor as the team sits on 20 straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Harrison has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.

Western Brown's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 6-0 margin over New Richmond. Considering the Broncos have won 13 matches by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for Harrison's offense. They came up short against Highlands on Wednesday, falling 8-0.

Harrison's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Western Brown, their win bumped their record up to 19-2.

Western Brown skirted past Harrison 7-6 in their previous matchup back in May of 2024. Do the Broncos have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Wildcats turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
