Basketball Game Preview: Andover Trojans vs. Piper Pirates

Having just played yesterday, the Andover Trojans will jump right back in to play the Piper Pirates at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Andover heads in on the heels of a playoff game on Friday. They fell 55-43 to Kapaun Mt. Carmel. The Trojans' loss signaled the end of their 12-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, Piper faced Highland Park in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. Piper took a 60-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of Highland Park. The Pirates' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Piper's loss dropped their record down to 20-4. As for Andover, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 20-4.
