Football Recap: Oceanside Takes a Loss

If Oceanside was feeling good fresh off their 51-14 takedown of Port Washington last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Sailors fell just short of the Massapequa Chiefs by a score of 36-33 on Friday. The Sailors were not able to make up for their defeat to the Chiefs from their previous meeting back in November of 2024.

Oceanside's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Massapequa, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Oceanside is set to take on their familiar foe Syosset on Saturday. Meanwhile, Massapequa will challenge rival Port Washington on Saturday.
