Baseball Game Preview: Anacoco Indians vs. Oberlin Tigers

The Anacoco Indians will challenge the Oberlin Tigers at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Anacoco will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.

Having struggled with four defeats in a row, Anacoco turned things around against Pickering on Friday. They blew past the Red Devils 15-2. The result was nothing new for the Indians, who have now won four matchups by 12 runs or more so far this season.

William Isgitt was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Anacoco is 2-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 2-6 otherwise. Isgitt was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in February.

Meanwhile, Oberlin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 6-0 to DeQuincy.

Oberlin's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Anacoco, their victory bumped their record up to 4-7.
