Preview: Cordova Wolves vs. Arlington Tigers
Cordova is 0-10 against Arlington since January of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Cordova Wolves will head out on the road to face off against the Arlington Tigers at 6:00 p.m.
Last Tuesday, Cordova was beaten by Houston 76-28. Cordova has not had much luck with Houston recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.
Meanwhile, Arlington made easy work of Germantown on Tuesday and carried off a 52-29 victory. The victory was just what Arlington needed coming off of a 65-25 defeat in their prior matchup.
Arlington found their leader in underclassman Zaria Moss, who almost dropped a double-double on 17 points and nine steals. Another player making a difference was Taylor Miller, who scored nine points along with six assists and two steals.
Cordova's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Arlington, their win bumped their record up to 9-11.
Cordova was dealt a bruising 61-29 loss at the hands of Arlington in their previous meeting two weeks ago. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Miller, who scored 26 points along with six rebounds and four steals.
