Basketball Game Preview: North Central Wolfpack vs. Deer Park Stags

The North Central Wolfpack and the Deer Park Stags will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. North Central will be strutting in after a victory while Deer Park will be coming in after a defeat.

North Central will bounce into Saturday's game after beating Pullman, who they had gone 0-4 against in their four prior meetings. North Central managed a 62-57 win over Pullman on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wolfpack.

Meanwhile, Deer Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They lost to Clarkston at home by a 43-26 margin. While losing is never fun, the Stags can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 318th, while the Bantams are ranked 145th).

North Central's victory bumped their record up to 14-6. As for Deer Park, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-16.

Everything came up roses for North Central against Deer Park in their previous matchup back in January, as the team secured a 96-49 win. In that contest, North Central amassed a halftime lead of 50-30, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Saturday.
