Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Strasburg-Franklin). They blew past the Malvern Hornets 19-0 on Monday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.
Miley Reifenschneider made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Reifenschneider was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
In other batting news, Addy Sibila was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three runs, two RBI, and one double. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ella Gilkerson, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and three RBI.
Strasburg-Franklin was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .541. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
