Volleyball Recap: Bartlett Falls Despite Big Games from Emerson Berkes and Kailee Almeria

Bartlett lost against Dyer County back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Panthers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Choctaws. The Panthers' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Bartlett's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Kailee Almeria, who had ten digs and two aces, and Emerson Berkes, who had 14 assists. Berkes is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Bartlett's loss dropped their record down to 9-20. As for Dyer County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-7-1 record this season.

Bartlett has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Germantown on the 30th. As for Dyer County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Jonesboro on the 27th.
