Basketball Recap: Chamberlain Comes Up Short

Chamberlain was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Parkston Trojans 57-26. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cubs of the 45-34 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2023.

Chamberlain's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Parkston, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Chamberlain will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Kimball/White Lake at 6:30 p.m. on January 2, 2025. Parkston and Pine Ridge will round out the year against one another at at 4:30 p.m. on December 28th.
