Volleyball Recap: EF Academy Comes Up Short

EF Academy lost against The Webb Schools back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Hawks came up short against the Gauls, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-18, 25-14.

It was another big night for Alexandra Wang, who had seven aces and three digs for The Webb Schools. Wang is crushing it when it comes to aces: she's served at least six every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Gianna Rabida, who had six aces.

EF Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for The Webb Schools, the win keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

EF Academy will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on SEED: LA on October 2. As for The Webb Schools, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Newport Christian on the 15th.
