Springfield has gone 8-2 against Granada recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Longhorns will head out to square off against the Bobcats at 4:00 p.m. Granada took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Springfield, who comes in off a win.

On Tuesday, Springfield made easy work of Wiley and carried off a 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Longhorns.

Springfield never let Wiley on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-16, 25-22.

Meanwhile, after a string of nine wins, Granada's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to McClave. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Bobcats have suffered since October 29, 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-15, 25-11.

Granada's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 11-2. As for Springfield, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Springfield suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Granada in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Can the Longhorns avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
