Baseball Game Preview: Hialeah Educational Academy Biggie vs. Chaminade-Madonna Lions

Hialeah Educational Academy hasn't had much luck against Chaminade-Madonna recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Biggie will square off against the Lions at 3:30 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Hialeah Educational Academy is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Westminster Academy, sneaking past 3-1.

The team relied heavily on JOSE AVILES, who went 1-for-2 with three RBI and one double. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high.

On the hitting side, Miguel Roa was excellent, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was John Scott Bishop, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Chaminade-Madonna kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Archbishop McCarthy only managed four hits.

Hialeah Educational Academy's record now sits at 11-12. As for Chaminade-Madonna, their record is now 21-3.

The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Tuesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Hialeah Educational Academy has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 6.8 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Chaminade-Madonna struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 8 strikeouts.
