Volleyball Game Preview: Redondo Union Sea Hawks vs. San Juan Hills Stallions + Official Tickets

After both having extra time off, the Redondo Union Sea Hawks and the San Juan Hills Stallions will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with Redondo Union sitting on three straight wins and San Juan Hills on 16.

Redondo Union is headed into this one coming off a big win against nationally ranked Mira Costa (Redondo Union was ranked 11th at the time). The Sea Hawks came out on top against the Mustangs by a score of 3-1 last Tuesday.

Redondo Union had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 16-25, 25-22, 25-20, 25-17.

Meanwhile, San Juan Hills had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over Los Alamitos on Wednesday.

San Juan Hills' win bumped their record up to 21-5. As for Redondo Union, their victory bumped their record up to 29-6.

Redondo Union took their win against San Juan Hills in their previous meeting back in October of 2018 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Sea Hawks repeat their success, or do the Stallions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
