            The Lakewood Park Christian Panthers will head out to  square off against the New Haven Bulldogs  at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
Fans were treated to a battle of the Panthers  on Monday. Lakewood Park Christian came up short against  Prairie Heights, falling  14-1. Lakewood Park Christian has struggled against Prairie Heights recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meeting.
 Lakewood Park Christian saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Lilly Rice, who  went 1-for-2 with one  stolen base and one  RBI.
Meanwhile, New Haven was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight  loss  dating back to last season. They lost  20-11 to Marion. On the bright side, the 11- run  effort marked the Bulldogs' highest-scoring  contest to date.
  Jaedyn Hoover made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  scored three  runs and  stole four bases while  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances. She also put up two  hits, which were her first of the season. Another player making a difference was  Cassidy Johnson, who  scored three  runs and  stole five bases while going 2-for-3.
 Lakewood Park Christian came out on top in a nail-biter against New Haven in their previous matchup  back in April of 2024, sneaking past  12-10. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
